Kitchings Chemist

Kitching's Chemist is a family run Telford Pharmacy based in Oakengates. We dispense private and NHS prescriptions and sell over the counter medicines. All our staff are trained to the recognised national standards. The Directors and Proprietors are Mr Richard Kitching, Miss Diane Kitching (also Superintendent Pharmacist) & Mr Kevin Kitching. The business has been handed down throughout the family and is now in its 6th Generation. We currently have 15 members of staff. These include Pharmacists, Accuracy checking technicians, Pharmacy technicians, Dispensing assistants and medicine counter assistants. All counter staff complete medicines counter training and when opportunities arise they are able to train as dispensing assistants and technicians, equivalent to NVQ level 2 and 3.
